Kassanda District Local Government joins the Ugandan Government to participate in NPHC 2024 and in response, a number of activities were conducted towards achieving this goal. these include the following.

1. Nomination of District Census Officers by the Chief Administrative Officer and these Participants include: Mr. Muhumuza Siliwano District Census Officer, Ms. Nalukwago Sharon Assistant District Census Officer, Mr. Kibumba Joseph Kisule Information Technology Officer.

2. Nomination of Sub county Supervisors and Assistant Subcounty Supervisors still by the Chief Administrative Officer and the list is attached for reference.

3. Conducted an online Application. The District relied on Guidance by Uganda Bureau of Statistics in an advert disseminated for attention by all interested applicants. the applications were received by the District Census officer using a link provided by UBOS.

4. Shortlisting was done by the District Recruitment team including Mr. Muhumuza Siliwano District Census Officer and Mr. Sonko Yoweri Semwanga. for the post of Census Enumeration Supervisor, the requirement is Diploma and for Enumerators, the qualification is UACE as Guided by UBOS.

5. The nominated District Staff are currently receiving a 10 days Training by UBOS at Speak Resort Munyonyo which will later be cascaded down to District and Sub counties subsequently as it will be communicated by Management.
